This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
My biggest criticism is the clash of narratives comparing the first and second part. It doesn’t match in terms of character development and even the cinematography takes a bizarre turn. And the epilogue sounds even more detached from the other ones, trying to end the storyline in some pretty way.

La chimera is one of those films you are sure you are going to watch again. It’s so beautifully executed and portrayed that any shot is worth paying attention too.
This is how you make a comedy film and also how you make an archeology related film. Experimenting and breaking rules pays off greatly, specially if you can hire Josh O’Connor to play you leading, complicated character.
