i’m going to write an actual review this time
positives: great acting, amazingly disgusting
negatives: i do understand the themes of this film and what was supposed to be communicated but this quickly turned a piece about unrealistic beauty standards into two women fighting. just overall felt very… shallow.
rather than tackling the actual issue of the beauty standards, it felt as if they attacked the women who fall victim to them which was a bit weird.

i liked this very very very much i don’t really know why it hit so hard for me. great acting, great story, i hope kieran culkin wins an oscar for this. my favourite part was the dinner scene :)
