it’s really, truly honestly in the effort of being completely honest, hard not to come away from this movie despising white people. The love was beautiful. Heterosexual relationships have their almost inherent imbalances, but this was one of the better ones. Watched for a class in college. Wish Ernestine and Heyward got it on

Alien 1979
A very good movie. Will be delving into Sigourney Weaver’s filmography some more. Visually interesting direction and the storyline captivated me. Her stripping at the end felt a little unnecessary🫤 The horror was shocking and abrasive in a way I treasure as part of the genre, and the stakes felt (and were) high in an entertaining way. Loved how smart Ripley was and how often she made the right decision.
