Dios mío… where do I begin? If this movie wins BP I think I’m done with the Oscars. It’s a bloated mess. There are some fun scenes, some interesting themes about masculinity vs femininity, and being a good person vs having a terrible past, but overall this film was a let down. Felt soggy. The ending was horrible, super unsatisfying. I kept just asking myself what was the point?

Kind of a mess and although I really wanted to like it, I just couldn’t connect. Extremely over acted by everyone. I know horror doesn’t always have to be tied up neatly in the end, but this didn’t even feel like it had a point, theme or coherent message. Read contracts before you sign your wife away I guess? I related to the guy who wanted all the possessed people to get out of his house.
