Started out as a happy family movie and then became a sad one. This movie shows how life was like in Brazil during the military dictatorship and how they would just make people disappear aka killing them. Fernanda Torres was great in this movie. It wasn’t my favorite movie of 2024 but it’s still a good one.

I really liked the back and forths between the timelines of this movie. Probably a very good example of what happens when you’re trying to find the one that got away, especially when you’re getting sick AND during the pandemic. I feel this movie teaches us to never regret anything and that life is so short that you must fight for what you want, even if it means leaving your normal life for a more extraordinary one with a special person. Really solid movie. I liked it a lot!
