  THE CONVERSATION (1974) is one of many of Francis Ford Coppola's masterpieces. Unfortunately, the film is clearly overshadowed by his much larger budgeted and iconic films, THE GODFATHER (1972), THE GODFATHER PART II (1974), and APOCALYPSE NOW (1979).
