  Beyond the spectacle, it falls into some of the familiar music biopic tropes we've grown accustomed to; with regards drug abuse, an absentee or neglectful parent, losing yourself in the spotlight, etc (most similar to Rocketman). As a fan of the Britpop era and a stickler for historical accuracy too, I also didn't like the chronological changes being made (e.g. All Saints' no. 1 came later in real life).
