The best thing about this film is it’s fluctuation in pace, the text captures the idea of naval warfare respectfully to my knowledge, and it was able to capture every aspect of the ship; creating a great setting. The characters were nothing special, even Tom Hanks was certainly not as encompassing as others he has portrayed. One of my first Apple Originals, not too bad Aaron.

It’s a mind fuck like everyone said it would, but not as much as I expected. The plot of this story is unique in every sense of the word. The writing is a master class in its ability to depict such a challenging topic but deliver it in very simple ways. This piece of cinema was a suspenseful thriller with fantastic characters, amazing set design, and fantastic directing.

This is a power house of cinema to say the least. The gruelling imagery and twisted themes creates something very, very unique. The thing I love about this movie is that the camera takes its time whenever it is necessary, and David Fincher created an atmosphere that is as unique as the story he is telling.

Joaquin Phoenix... God Damn.
A fresh new take on this such a timeless character. If this was a fight, they have landed every single punch. Every moment and every twist did not fail in knocking me out of my chair.
This movie has joined the list of films that caused me to sit in my chair for 20 minutes, not knowing what to think. Questioning what I witnessed and debating with my friends. It’s an interesting feeling, I suggest you try it.
