This movie is the epitome of cringe and genuinely makes almost no sense. Her dad is dead and was also a crown prince of a made up European microstate? And Anne Hathaway’s British grandmother she’s never met needs her unknown 16 year old granddaughter to fill his shoes? So she comes to San Francisco to buy her fancy shoes, do her hair, and teach her not to be weird? Okay cool. I do want to be bound to a chair with an Hermès scarf though.
