Lost in Translation 2003
I had been waiting to watch this for a while, expecting it to click with me on a deeper level or touch my soul but it didn’t. I guess I might’ve had my expectations too high but I sat down like a proper movie, didn’t pause, didn’t look at my phone, and it just didn’t take. The acting was solid. Maybe I just don’t feel that lost in my life right now? Even still I was really happy that he found her at the end, though obviously it’s cheating which I feel like they downplay because at least they’re “seen”.
