I put this on in the hopes of a good cry. But i didn’t. I was very close on numerous occasions however it never hit the emotional beat i was looking for. It will obviously be different for someone else but i just didn’t feel it. The acting was fabulous and the story should have got me as a gay man who has shared some of the experiences in the film but it fell flat for me. The moment i knew he was talking to ghosts it lost me, and the ending although sad in theme felt strange. Good watch but wouldn’t revisit this film. ✨
