I sat on this one for a day, and the more I think about it, the more I love it. The beautiful animation, the deeper themes relating to humanity/nature, the music, and just a fantastic story. There are so many different lenses you could look at the movie through, whether it’s focusing on greed, resentment, power, love, war, etc., and it somehow still feels like a simple story.
I’ve enjoyed every Miyazaki movie I’ve seen up to this point, but…
