The gore and performances are highlight. I also liked how much the movie hated all of its characters in a very blunt and straightforward way. So much of the movie is just saying “sex” and “disgusting” over and over again, which is admirable in its directness. But it dragged on for way too long and seemed more concerned at times with appearing cool/smart/gross than actually trying to do anything narratively, emotionally, or visually interesting.

Thought A Different Man did a much better job at exploring similar themes, though obviously from a more masculine perspective.

Although I appreciate it more than I like it, there is no denying its influence and iconic status. Though it is dated and not as scary as it would be when it was first released, it is still thrilling and entertaining.

Soderbergh's direction is great, and the fight scenes are well shot and flow nicely. I'm also in love with his visual style, in this film is no different

The plot is cliche and the beats are familiar. The tone is what really sets it apart, as instead of rushed and confusing, it is calm and restrained.

The cast is great, though no one really shines out (Fassbender stands out with his little screen time, however). Carano was better than I thought she would be, though she was obviously better while she was fighting.
