  soundtrack slaps. Oscar Isaac is great. Doesn't quite reach the level of Mishima or First Reformed but still an interesting look at a deeply flawed character. Hard to escape the cycle of violence when your parents name you "Cirk"!

  entertaining and very fun. some good performances and funny bits. ultimately just didn't quite come together for me though, felt like there were 30 different competing messages that just washed each other out.

  I don't know that Monkey Man hits the highs of say John Wick, but definitely a solid revenge flick in its own right. The Indian setting was interesting and felt different, and the action scenes were great. Music choices were kind of weird though. Excited to see what Dev Patel does next
