had to resist the urge to be too cool to give wes anderson a five — i just loved this movie so much. so so funny and extremely touching. imo easily his best and most enjoyable yet. i feel like i was smiling the entire time. i think some people might get tired of the extreme wes anderson-y-ness of it at times, but i found it to be really charming and it pulled back a bit in the second half…

dragged a little at times around the middle but really liked it! felt just like watching the original ones for the first time, which i think is actually a pretty difficult feeling to capture based on the quality of some other recent reboots.
