  Lady Gaga can clearly act. Bradley Cooper can clearly direct.

  It's a shame that this plot is so formulaic and that Cooper couldn't even articulate once, even when he was sober. Also, I hate the "pop starlet" ALLY -- and she should have hated it too.

  I simply cannot sympathize with an individual who spent nine years in a relationship and only had one brief, in-person interaction with the man she thought she was dating.

  It did generate a great discussion with a friend about how long we'd engage in a "relationship" without physically sharing space with another person.

  My time limit is probably about three months.
