  Genuinely great movie in premise that is unfortunatly held back by some pretty cringeworthy dialogue from all members of the cast. A lot of "cool" one liners that come off pretty grating. Effects hold up pretty well, not a bad watch overall

  When I heard Robert Patterson was going to play Batman, I had my doubts as everybody did but he demolished this role. As the first live action early years Batman, I think the brooding and emotional performance Patterson gave was perfect. No, he does not "play a good Bruce". We haven't seen him play Bruce yet.   The pacing stays consistent throughout, the lighting and cinematography is warm and inviting which directly parallels the unforgiving industry our main protagonist must trudge through to achieve his goals.
  Abuse and mental health play key roles, something that other movies centred around a musicians rise to fame usually shy away from.
  J.K Simmons once again steals the show with an incredibly dynamic performance as Terence Fletcher.

  Unfortunately the movie falls flat in some places. Hence the four star review.
