    Wow. I probably hold a minority opinion but I liked this much more than Stalker. I totally see how Tarkovsky made this in response to 2001. A bit drawn out and boring tbh (you have to mentally prepare yourself to sit down for it), but well worth it.

    Waste of 3 hours IMO.


    I could not understand 1/3 of the dialogue due to the AI generated Hungarian accents. I don't understand why they didn't write the characters to speak less accented english in public, and Hungarian at home (I can't imagine 2 recent immigrants who are ESL speaking english to each other in private as opposed to their native language).

    They wrote so many traumatic events for Laszlo's character without delving deep into any of them, this reeked…
