Scarborough 2021
Haven’t been posting on this site for over a year now (maybe two?). Will I be updating it with reviews for all the movies I’ve seen since then? Probably not. But I will leave a little note for this one: Heartbreaking. But you should watch it. Especially as a Torontonian, this film is about our community and I guarantee if you’ve lived here for any length of time it will hit so close to home. We must look out for our neighbours ❤️

Riceboy Sleeps 2022
this is maybe the sweetest and most tender film I have ever seen, and I urge you to seek this little masterpiece out!!!

The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) 2017
This is one of those movies that I genuinely liked - but nobody else I’ve met has seemed to enjoy it. I’ve almost repressed my love for it so I never bring it up anymore. It’s a simple enough story, all the individual performances were solid (I mean look at the cast!), I really liked it for what it was. Deal with it!

The Beach Bum 2019
On paper there’s not a movie I could like more. Wish it was a little tighter. Still love “Moondog” McConaughey unflinchingly though. I’ll think about this character a lot for awhile despite the movie being a bit disappointing.
“I go to bed in Los Angeles thinking
about you.Pissing a few moments ago
I looked down at my penis
affectionately.
Knowing it has been inside
you twice today makes me
feel beautiful.”This poem kinda rips, too, might i add.
