Star Wars: The Last Jedi 2017
The highs are high, but the lows are really low. There are fun sequences sprinkled throughout this 150-minute runtime, but it is a very messy film, trying to do too many things, none of which I feel were successfully executed and only made the movie's narrative lackluster.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens 2015
A fun, simple, and solid Star Wars action flick. I don't know what this era of the Skywalker saga holds yet, but I may already have a preference towards the prequels overall narrative arc, dealing with the real drama at hand: Anakin's transformation into Vader. As of now, I don't know how much I'll like Rey's trilogy, but it seems like it'll be a safe one.
