One of the reasons why I think this movie is so great is that it tackles an interesting theme (or themes). It was never meant to be just a horror film. It is so many other things that comes first. Struggles that we as humans face. The movie is filled with characters who experience fear and anxiety through doubt, uncertainty and powerlessness. There are questions about our existence and the neverending unknowingness surrounding it.

I watched Batman and Robin only a few hours before watching this. I wonder if I've ever seen bigger contrasts ever in my life. How is this the same source material?
The Batman did a lot of things that I have been missing from previous films. It takes its time. It focuses on investigation. It's dark, gritty and makes Bruce Wayne an actual social weirdo.
The cast is great. The script is great. Direction is top notch. I struggle with…

A solid effort as a cozy family adventure. They tried something different with this third film and I can respect it. I do believe there's other types of stories that works better for Paddington. And I'm sure we will get someting different than this if a fourth movie gets made.
It baffles me how long ago the first two films came out. It's 10 years between 1 and 3. I feel old now.

Has aged a lot worse than the first film. It's boring. The characters are strange. They went for edgy and cool, but it turned out pretty stupid. Several stunts are just laughable.
Statham is a great fit for this character, but he can't save this either.
    Still love the cars.

What a bunch of wonderfully nasty characters. And Ralph Fiennes is the perfect casting as the cold controlling chef. The story is driven by the constant unraveling of the different personalities and backstories of those on the island. They also manage to keep things interesting througout the runtime.

I don't know how much money this will make, but based on the hints and carefully drops of information we got on the island, I'm smelling a prequel here.

This movie was so many things at the same time. Very sad, but also quite impressive. The audience are not getting much help as we have to keep guessing what is going on.
Anthony Hopkins is a truly great actor. He keeps proving this in his older days as well. So many great scenes with a wide range of emotions that he has to act out in a very short amount of time. And he nails it. Not a fun film exactly, but an important one!
