The Batman 2022
Had to watch it twice. Appreciation grew after second viewing. Felt immersed in a world, originally dissatisfied with the darkness (hard to see anything), but that was the theater and equipment I realized. On the right screen, it’s certainly dark, in line with its moodiness, but wow the detail, scene design, felt like a lot of care and effort. Pattinson is really good (for a role that’s been so wooden every time after Keaton), Dano is great, Kravitz, Farrell, Turturro,…
