This film took an hour to take off outside of a montage of random fun and a constant need to establish a relationship built solely on sex. Which is so fine! But why did it take AN HOUR to go somewhere?! Ani is treated with respect by the end, but I’m not positive this movie completely and successfully finished what it set out to do. Her ending isn’t exactly hopeful..? Acted beautifully though. I hate Ivan, so it DID that.

So much fun! Loved the different settings for battles that are possible when thinking about difference in size of the hero lol.
Main character is interesting as he seems apologetic that he committed a crime against “the man”, but I suppose it’s justified in that he just wants to see his daughter..?
