I was surprised by how captivated I was by this movie. Great performances by the child and adult actors alike (Rachel McAdams was incredible as always). Although I haven’t read the book, Dani said the movie stayed fairly true to the source material, which is increasingly impressive with the way adaptations have been going recently.

The Monkey 2025
Really enjoyed this one. Maybe it’s just my fucked up sense of humor, but I burst out laughing in the middle of the theater at multiple points during the movie. Impressive job by Theo James playing dual roles, and some great editing that really added to the humor. Always great to see a King adaptation capture the essence of his sardonic wit.
