The main message of the movie is not anti-war. Rather, it talks about the necessity of community during difficulties, about the importance of swallowing your pride and resolving conflict rather than isolating yourself because of the discomfort that being in a society may bring.
Isolation, especially during disasters, will always bring to tragedy.
Community is essential for humanity, we all need one-another to survive.
