Wonka 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Some of the songs were fun. The villains and the police chief were the only funny characters. The last 20 minutes were the only good set pieces in a sea of shitty green screen. And why on earth would you write a Wonka with no malice? This man gets wronged by a corrupt police force and a chocolate mafia and never once turns anyone into a giant blueberry about it? Disappointing

Whiplash 2014
This movie was incredibly difficult to watch as I played drums for my high school jazz band and middle school band. Everytime Andrew was late, lost a stick bag, lost a folder, etc. I had to take a break from the movie from the pure secondhand embarrassment.
That being said, it was an incredible watch and in the end I walked away with a very good experience. 5/5
