loved: literally everything???? transitions between scenes (father banging head against wall in beginning -> drip of red liquid into daughter’s cup was BRILLIANT); the depth of emotions evoked even without having any dialogue; the caring nature of the daughter (seriously, we all should be more like her); the gray pallor/emotions depicted in a diff art style that come over the old man when he has flashbacks; the tender link between the whale and the ship
