This movie reminded me of that one line from clueless, it was a Monet… From a distance pretty but up close messy & ugly. The whole movie was beautiful to look at and listen too but the story never gained any momentum or depth. I felt the movie was respectful to her in the way that the flawed, imbalanced and abusive dynamics of the relationship were blatant but not overly gratuitous for emotional shock. Coppola being a Taurus & Priscilla being a Taurus makes so much sense.
