This was such a hauntingly beautiful gothic horror film. The cinematography was gorgeous and the lighting in every scene was natural and left a lot of uneasiness with what lurks in the shadows. Everyone that worked on this film did such a phenomenal job especially Eggers and I look forward to seeing more of his work in future. 10/10

I thought the premise of seeing a serial killer's POV would be interesting but this movie was just boring and very slow passed with only one redeemable kill in it.

Although the 70s aesthetics was well done the movie itself is a really slow burn to the point where it just felt boring to watch and it only picks up toward the very end but by the time it finishes, you're left with a big ole question mark.
