  In spite of how hideous 85% of this movie is, and its decision to stage defying gravity like it’s a harry potter action sequence for some reason, I still found myself not unmoved. I’m not immune to the power of homoeroticism, I guess. Really not a very good movie, but it’s genuinely worth watching for the performances.

  decently fun but surprisingly half baked by the end. i thought they might have had something interesting with the family annihilation angle but it really ends up going nowhere imo. it kind of reminded me of mid x-files episodes but those have the benefit of being only 40 minutes.
