There is something about this movie that seems a bit off. The story is simple but enjoyable and it has humor that works within its universe. There is something about this movie that seems a bit off. I think its that there are only a handful of characters that are convincing. Its almost as if they went with the third casting option for the roles. Its not a complaint everybody plays their characters as well as they can, just a thought.

Ok, just kidding. Overall I enjoyed this movie very much. I thoroughly enjoyed the cast. Dustin Hoffman's character was so genuine and convincing. A problem I did have though is Adam Sandler's character has outbursts of anger or frustration and I was finding it hard to justify how volatile he was. Let's keep it simple. An absolutely beautiful movie. Insanely gorgeous sets. A very refreshing expansion of the universe. On my first viewing there were moments that seemed stale but after my second viewing I definitely had a greater appreciation and change of heart towards those moments.
