  I’m not the biggest fan of slow-mo or over the top action set pieces, I get the hype though. I reallllyyy did not care for the writing of the characters and the relationships between them, especially Ethan and Nyah. But that’s not what this movie is about anyway.

  A sweet, light hearted story despite the setting. Very much appreciated the art style and humor in particular. It’s reminiscent of picture books and children’s programs of the time, and isn’t overly safe like it was “made for children”.

  My first time watching this ever. Stuuupidly funny. I now understand why it’s so iconic and quoted even today. Personally, not all of it was my type of humor, but I still had a good time. Needed more Brick! Steve Carrell was easily my favorite.

  Surprised how solid this was after being put off by the amount of times I was shown the trailer. James McAvoy’s physical energy is wildly entertaining, and really enjoyed the rest of the cast too.
