This is a very solid movie. It instantly felt like I knew someone like Benji my whole life. I also feel like so many people I know are like David. The point is that both characters are very familiar and their relationship is something we all have experienced. Soul is an awesome movie. Pixar at its finest. Especially given the time of its release during the pandemic, it is one of the best movies ever created. The movie in itself can help people find their purpose in life, which a lot of people may have lost during this challenging year. There is a lot of symbolism that will make this movie extremely rewatch-able. A true feel-good movie that works for anyone.
In terms of the animation in Pixar’s movies, this one ranks at the top with Good Dinosaur and Coco as their most impressive animation yet.
