Funny, dark commentary on modern youth culture in America, but it left me wanting much more from Korine. It felt like he was holding back for the entire film, both visually and content-wise. I think it was a bit miscast as well and the actors did not carry the script convincingly. The last 10 minutes made Spring Breakers worth it, but ultimately, I was left feeling bored.

Barbie 2023
Very colorful and I sure do love that Margot!! I got a little lost once they started flying into outer space and what not but all in all a great way to get the kids out of the house for a couple hours! I found it very interesting ryan gosling was in this film. I wonder if he's switching to more comedic roles. Not sure how I feel about that. The main problem I have with barbie is that I couldn't see it without spending an arm and a leg (haha no pun intended). But anyways good movie!
