the perfect film to watch on the last day of the year alone in a red seated theatre full of strangers. cried a lot and i don't fully know why but i can't wait to figure it out. or maybe not figure it out. a film that unravels with time. a simple beauty.
such a beautiful comfort film. it's so poetic, romantic, artistic and just overall a wonderful film to escape the real world and delve into the world of two unconventional lovers, both who seem plagued by the intensity of their feelings for one another to the point where it makes the watcher themselves, feel loved.
i don't even know if i can express how much this movie means to me. it almost came to me at the time when i needed it most, which is why i think it holds such a special place in my heart. the final monologue by miles resonated so deeply within me, driving me to watch this film countless times in order to experience that feeling of being seen and understood.
