  Ewan mcgregor aura farming compilation 

  Mostly character driven but the characters stay static throughout, which is surprisingly fine with me bc it's just so funny. I love that being gay is never part of the conflict and it mostly revolves around Jim carrey's character being a compulsive liar. Im very glad this film exists

  This concept has a lot of potential to be explored, but every way the film explores it falls flat.

  As political commentary? Wayyyy too overwrought and obvious. Has not nearly enough nuance to be interesting and just points out to the audience what we already know. When Nasha accuses mark ruffalo's obvious trump caricature of colonization...um YEAH we already KNOW that. Like his cruelty is exaggerated on purpose, and it is funny at first.   More sexual than I expected but I'm not mad about that! Defo carries a lot of xenophobia and antisemitism and other stuff from the source material but it's an adaptation so I understand that choice (to an extent). Great atmosphere, one of lily rose depp's and Nicholas hoult's best performances for sure. I actually quite don't like nosferatu's design I wish they were more creative with it and less "ewww he's groooosssss"

  you’d think a movie about a law breaking couple would be interesting but this was so fucking boring I was counting down the minutes. The acting is mediocre I don’t care about the characters I don’t like how it was shot the plot drags. Blah blah historical significance SORRY I think it’s pretty significant that the movie is watchable. Lock me up!!!
