“Imagine you could be hotter, smarter, faster, better, stronger.”
All the LA plastics should watch this movie.
I was mortified and shaking, but also enjoyed the comical twist at the end. The entire movie is a hyperbole, and while the writing is complete garbage, you’re supposed to just go along with it for the sake of the plot. So okay let’s just ignore the fact that Margaret Qualley built an entire secret room on her own to stash Demi’s body…
“Faith is a torment – did you know that? It is like loving someone who is out there in the darkness but never appears, no matter how loudly you call."
I felt that.
Death was by far the most intriguing character in the film — naturally. I preferred the ending to the beginning. The build-up took forever, but I understand the value of this film now. Maybe not cinematically, but it’s themes and meaning still resonate today.
Over the top, too dramatic. We’re just picking the new pope, can we do it and move on already? I thought the acting was great, but really it’s just a bunch of bitchy men holed up in a room shit talking one another. Not to mention an unnecessary ending that had nothing to do with the plot, solely to check off “woke” boxes and remind people we’re living in 2025. Controversy for controversy’s sake.
