I LOVE MIXED MEDIAA!!!!!!!! the utilization of highlighters with characters was essential to its moving stories. the first story was so unserious and funny and icky and sweet and just real. as the stories progress to become slowly more confrontational with the corruption and pressure of being “clean,” they just further reinforced the specific resistance to these concepts through teens. each story synthesized amazingly at the end. proof that films can be messy and dirty and unserious and funny and cheesy and still be incredibly meaningful. teens just being teens despite the notions of pressure from their surroundings
