  there is a scene at the beginning that compacts years of a father and daughter relationship into such a short scene that perfectly builds on every single heart yanking emotion i felt the rest of the movie. 

  leslie odom jr. had an amazing performance and made me feel every subtle and big emotion his character was feeling. this was especially true at the films climax where he delicately portrays a major and important conflict that had me in tears. 

  i can’t wait to watch this again and rave about this film for at least one month.
