wait no...because why was this actually kind of good? like if they switched up the cast a bit this could've been in theaters. it was very predictable of course, but the family elements of the movie were strong and not annoying to me, which is rare. not excellent, but definitely a bit above some other netflix movies that will not be named for kindness.

erm…well, yes, opus was a movie! idk i think it just opened a lot of threads relating to its theme but never really got up the nerve to say anything original about them. watched this for ayo edebiri and was pleasantly surprised that amber midthunder was also in it! also *spoiler* not that this would be okay but why didn’t moretti just do more of a scientology celebrity centre vibe to spread levelism and bring the themes together
