  initially I just simply watched this bc I was curious and interested about the architecture of the old Kowloon walled city, needless to say the cgi and even the sets were hyperealistic. despite the relatively simple story of revenge and power, the execution to bring out elements of justice, sentiment, passion and care is just top-notch (cried at several instances …) and you start to care for the characters…

  Honestly, this movie wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be (given the reviews). The plot and message were simple, which is fine. The conflicts were resolved quite quickly, the dilemma abt the team member or the goal of the project was quite interesting but we all know the solution to it lol. The combat scenes were actually quite nice and the movie is funny I will give it that, Eden in canto films just makes it funnier and that 螞蟻有幾多種笑聲 fucking got me bc of how out of pocket it was 😭😂😂😂😭 The end fell a bit flat tho.

  Personally, I really liked the execution and plot for the first three episodes as well as the horror element for one of the side characters (how the male main protagonist found out about the notebook). But I feel like the second guy’s plot is kind of pointless, typical jerk (whose arc is already portrayed in the first character). 

  However, I feel like the romance between the protagonists aren’t well developed (especially the female character). Moreover, I feel like the anxiety…
