Although the film doesn’t fully deliver on or explore its initial premise, Mickey 17 is an exciting, sci-fi romp that deals with questions of the self with exciting performances from Mark Ruffalo and Robert Pattinson.

All the impressive makeup effects in the world can’t save Norbit from itself: a weird, slapsticky, rump that rewards it’s audience’s patience with cheap laughs, offensive jokes, and 2 hours almost wasted.

This timeline-hopping, wacky adventure makes use of its absurd premise to tell a tear-jerking tale about the importance of family, regrets, and mending relationships; Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan give Oscar-winning performances here.

Chicken Little was too concerned with making pop culture references and single digit IQ jokes to be any more compelling than that, but if you turn your brain off for all 80 minutes of it and let your nostalgia take hold, it’s quite an entertaining trot.
