  Just got the 4k of this, decent rewatch. The whole movie feels sweaty it almost has a shine to it. I prefer Pacino’s earlier stuff mmaannnnn. So many funny cameos from James Remar, to Mike Starr, to William Russ of Boy Meets World fame. William Friedkin’s directing style is very gritty and almost feels forever stuck in 1978, even 2011’s Killer Joe didn’t feel of its time. Why am I doing such a long form review of Cruising?
