Not much to say about this one. Kristen Stewart deserves the Oscar for this film, she is gorgeous in this with some of the best costume design of the year. The film is the definition of rapturous.

West Side Story 2021
Best Steven Spielberg Film in the last 15 years and the best musical of the year. This film showcases masters in their craft from the cinematographer showing incredible, perfectly framed long-takes, artists in the production and costume design vibrantly showing the beauty of 1950s New York City, and the actors dancing, acting and singing their hearts out. Also Ariana DeBose is fucking incredible and I am so happy that she is the next Hamiliton alumni to blow up. Oye Javi! Pon le fuego vamos!

Art film sequels are fucking awesome. We need more of them. Director Joanna Hogg and Actress Honor Swinton Byrne deliver a powerhouse film that talks about the power of mistakes and regret. Not in a hateful way but in understanding oneself and what we want in our lives. How do you move forward from that? Also it is so refreshing to see this from a woman's perspective and I don't want to spoil anything but the ending floored me.
