So I started the film and at first I wasn’t loving it because I felt it was a very different vibe to the original. Mainly with the music it’s not that I thought these ones were worse it was more that the original films music are more ballads where as these felt more jazz popy? I think probably because the originals were written by lin manuel Miranda who is obviously amazing. As the plot got more intense I did really enjoy it I just feel like it was kind of a slow start and I’m not sure if the plot was really that well planned.

As a hobbit lover I had watched like half the film before and never finished it because I hated Frodo. However I have now committed and watched the extended version of every film.
I still think frodos overrated but only because Sam doesn’t get enough love from others in the films.
Honestly I loved it and I feel bad for slagging it off for so long.
