The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Very much so enjoyed first half and Jude Law’s character (not just for aesthetic purposes i swear) but once he died I got a bit bored. Didn’t really connect with Mr Ripley himself and really just wanted to know more about Marge and Dickie.

Lucy Gray is deffo stronger than me.
this was absolutely fab, loved the split into 3 acts, perf casting, amazing soundtrack, aesthetic of the Capitol was on point, references to orig trilogy was mostly lush.
a bit sad that Corio’s insane inner monologue not conveyed fully bc he was FUNNY but crazy.
also Katniss as swamp potato ? so random made me giggle but love the sentiment and connotations.Translated from by
