Crazy, Stupid, Love. 2011
It was so good 😭😭😭 But Emily annoyed me so damn much! SHE cheats on her husband and the has the GALL to act like he's doing wrong and she's mad at him!??? Are you kidding me! Rather than talking to him and communicating she just cheats! And then when he tries to move on by sleeping with other women she gets upset!? They're not together anymore! He should be the one upset! She slept with another man when they WERE together!

The Colors Within 2024
A beautifully intimate movie about accepting yourself and your path in life, accepting what you can't change and changing what you can.
The narrative is simplistic, nothing extravagant or dramatic. Though I believe that's what allowed me to appreciate all the cinematography which made it so beautiful.
Naoko Yamada is definitely becoming my favourite director. She made my favourite movie 'A Silent Voice' and this is as equally well directed.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 1975
I thought it was really good though slightly weird. It had the message of freedom but personally Mac was not someone I was rooting for at all. It may be because it's not made for a modern audience. I also can't bring myself to villainise Nurse Ratchet. She's bad but not a villain.
Though I do think it's brilliant being shot in an actual mental asylum and all the actors are always acting. It felt a lot more real, especially with the slow pace.
