  This is not a good movie by conventional standards, but considering it is made almost entirely by a bunch of high school students, from the production and direction down to the actors, it is rather impressive and inspiring. The feature-length film is an adaptation from the novel of the same name (meaning "escalator downwards"), a drama about a boy's downward spiral (or escalation in that matter) after being sent to a community home for difficult children.
