  one of my favorite films for a reason, it means everything to me.
  just so beautiful in every way, and i could probably dissect it's meaning for hours. rewatching this in the Alishan forests is such an experience

  i hope people don't misunderstand and realize from all the characters' moral complexity that humans and nature are not separate and never have been. there's no simple dichotomy, or side, or villain

  and i still need an ashitaka
