A heartbreaking story to remind us of the harsh reality that not everything can be healed or fixed. I love the way this film shows the lightness of childhood compared with the complexities of adolescence. Every performance was incredible, the cinematography beautiful, but my favourite part was the natural closeness of the characters. A head on your brother's shoulder, a kiss from your dad, and a hug from your mum. When everything else is broken, these are the things that make us feel human.

It's heartbreaking to watch the contrast between Craig's adoration and desperation against the unreadable and dismissive Starkey. Loved the trippy scenes and the last half an hour gave me a pang in my chest I haven't felt since watching CMBYN. The last image we are left with is so beautiful and hopeful compared to the loneliness and depression prior. Luca smashed it.

The Nice Guys 2016
A solid film to watch if you want a few laughs. Funny Gosling is something I haven't seen much of before but I loved it, and I think his humour alongside Crowe's work perfectly together. Outside of finding the daughter annoying, I really enjoyed this and was giggling throughout. And I really loved the times it would go from a silly slapstick, high pitch screamed bit to a genuinely heartwarming moment.

Twisters was just so much fun, I sat down and had a great time from start to finish. Sometimes cinema just needs to be over the top action packed with a really hot cast and a nice simple heartwarming message.
